Ingrown Toenails

Toenails help protect our toes, but may cause severe pain if they grow into the tissue surrounding the nail. The big toe is usually affected. The toe may become hot, red and painful to the touch. There may be pus present. The pain becomes worse as the nail grows further into the toe and infection spreads.

Treatment:
Those ingrown toenails that are not severe, can be taken out in the first visit. However those that are more sever can be extracted using a minor surgical procedure.
